Get Engaged
We welcome Rice alumni to join us in developing the next generation of leaders that will impact change globally. If one of the following points of connection is of interest to you, please drop us an email or stop by the Liu Idea Lab for a conversation.
Meet the Community
RAEI Chapters
Regional RAEI Chapters will design and direct activities that meet the needs of local members.
Roundtables
Roundtables are a forum that fosters peer-to-peer support within a small group of trusted entrepreneurs in a confidential environment. The roundtables allow members to draw from the expertise of other entrepreneurs in the group, designed to address your unique needs as an entrepreneur.
Become a Partner
Support the entrepreneurship community by partnering with RAEI, while receiving benefits unique to Rice’s talented network. Read more.
Alumni Service Provider List
we built out a database of reputable service providers that our alumni can leverage. The goal is to create business for our alumni working in these areas, as well as create a database to save our entrepreneurs time and heartache when trying to locate these people. Read More.

Support the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
Support Rice Financially
Consider investing in Rice’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting our students’ entrepreneurial learning. Your philanthropic support of Rice’s entrepreneurship program allows us to deliver courses and co-curricular content, and directly support student projects and alumni. Donate now to our students or RAEI
Sponsor a Student Internship or Host a Trek
For the right startup team, hosting a summer intern can be a great way to expand the team’s capacity to explore a strategically important area while allowing the summer intern to gain real-world experience in a startup environment. Lilie subsidizes a portion of the summer internship, which offsets the startup’s costs. Contact entrepreneurship@rice.edu for more information.
Provide a Student Project
Many of our courses are project-based and we are frequently looking for organizations that have distinct projects that could benefit from needs finding and user insights research over the course of a semester class. Reach out to entrepreneurship@rice.edu with requests.
Serve as a Mentor
We regularly connect our students to individuals with industry and functional expertise to provide guidance and serve as mentors. This takes several forms based on the availability, preferences, and level of commitment of the expert. In some cases, we may schedule regular office hours, while at other times we may make a 1-on-1 connection for you to “go deep” with a single team.
Invest in Student Ventures
We invite you to attend the final pitches for the Napier Rice Launch Challenge at the end of March and the OwlSpark accelerator pitches at the Bayou Startup Showcase in August. If you have the capacity and you see a venture that you think has potential, then please consider investing in a Rice-founded venture.
Attend a Lecture
Lilie hosts a series of 4 – 6 lectures annually at the intersection of innovation and an emerging topic, for example, artificial intelligence and blockchain. These lectures are open to the public and we welcome you to join us. Visit our calendar for upcoming events
